Getaway at The Beautiful Hill of Content B&B

A Beautiful Madison County, Virginia Bed and Breakfast
Near Orange, VA Just East of the Blue Ridge Mountains

The Hill of Content B&B is located among farms and horse and cattle ranches in Madison County, just south of the Town of Culpeper and north of the Town of Orange, Virginia, in the neighboring counties.  It is set back off the road on 32 acres of quiet and peaceful fields and woods.  The farmhouse is located at the top of a long field with a grand view of the surrounding terrain.  If you are looking for activities, within a half-hour's drive, you can find historical sites including Montpelier, Civil War Fields, and more, wineries and breweries with local flavor, and antique shopping and cafes in the towns of Orange or Madison.  A bit further is the famous, scenic Skyline Drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Built in 2015, the Hill of Content B&B looks like a 100-year-old farmhouse.  It was designed in that style but has many comforts of a newly built home.  Home to the Innkeepers, the house includes three guest rooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom.  It gets its 100-year-old look from the style of the building, but also from the many reused or re-purposed furnishings within.  With materials from many Virginia counties, as well as from North Carolina, West Virginia, and even California, it is intriguing to explore and imagine the provenance of the Hill of Content.
